This calculator helps you understand the carbon footprint of your digital work. Not to assign blame, but to create awareness. Measuring impact is the first step towards reducing it, and towards taking responsibility for what remains.

This calculator uses published averages for digital activity emissions. For example, we assume roughly 0.06 kg CO₂ per hour of typical computer use, about 0.35 kg/h for heavy GPU rendering tasks, 0.15 kg/h for video conferencing, 0.004 kg (4 g) per email sent, 0.10 kg/h for social media browsing, 0.22 kg/h for AI text generation, 0.64 kg/h for AI image generation, and 0.04 kg/GB/year of cloud storage.
Your weekly or monthly estimates are converted into annual totals to give a clearer picture of long-term impact.
To put the results into perspective, we also show equivalents such as kilometers driven by car and the number of trees required to absorb a similar amount of CO₂ over a year. These comparisons are meant to provide context, not exact offsets.

This calculator is based on published averages for emissions from digital activities. Your weekly inputs are converted into annual totals and adjusted for holidays. Overnight rendering is calculated separately, outside normal working hours.
